Welcome to Row52! ROW52, LLC (“Row52,” “we,” “us,” and/or “our”) operates the Row52 Services (as defined in our Terms of Service), including the web site available at http://row52.com/ (the “Web Site”) and the Row52 mobile applications (the “Apps”). This Privacy Policy sets forth Row52’s policy with respect to information, including personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”), that is collected from visitors to the Web Site, users of the Apps, and/or users of the Row52 Services (“you” and/or “your”). All capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy and not herein defined shall have the meaning attributed thereto in our Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
When you interact with us through our Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, as further described below:
Personal Data That You Provide through the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services:
We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information. For example, we collect information when you create an account; save searches that you have conducted through the Row52 Services; participate in any interactive features of the Row52 Services; fill out a form; request customer support or otherwise communicate with us; or communicate with other users. The types of information we may collect include: your name, e-mail address, telephone number and other contact or identifying information you choose to provide; or other content that you generate or that is connected to your account as a result of a Pull you are involved in.
By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you use the Web Site, Apps, and/or any Row52 Services from outside of the United States and submit any Personal Data to us through the Web Site or Apps or in connection with any Row52 Services you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred to the offices and servers of Row52 and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States and in third countries (the “Other Countries”). You acknowledge and agree that the privacy and data security laws of such Other Countries may be different from the privacy and data security laws in force in the country in which you reside and agree that the privacy and security laws in effect in the applicable Other Countries may govern how your Personal Data may be collected, used, stored and/or disclosed.
Personal Data and Other Information that You Share with Parts Buyers and/or Parts Sellers:
The Row52 Services enable Parts Buyers and Parts Sellers to connect with each other through private messaging or electronic mail functions. If you elect to share any Personal Data with a Parts Buyer or Parts Seller, you acknowledge and agree that you are doing so outside of the parameters of this Privacy Policy. Row52 cannot control and will not be responsible or liable for any Personal Data or other information that you elect to share with a Parts Buyer or Parts Seller.
Non-Identifiable Data:
When you access or use the Row52 Services, we automatically collect information about you, including:
- Log Information: We log information about your use of the Row52 Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our Web Site.
- Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Web Site or Apps, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.
- Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies, including flash cookies, to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that helps us to improve our Web Site, the Row52 Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Web Site and/or the Row52 Services are popular and count visits. We may also collect information using web beacons (also known as “tracking pixels”). Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in connection with our Web Site and/or e-mails, and they help deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an e-mail has been opened and acted upon.
Our cookies help provide additional functionality to the Web Site and help us analyze Web Site usage more accurately. For instance, our Web Site may set a cookie that allows you to access the Web Site without needing to remember and then enter a password more than once during a visit to the Web Site. However, these cookies are not required for the functionality of Web Site and you are not required to accept any cookies to use the Web Site. The Web Site uses Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users use the Web Site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Web Site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Web Site, compiling reports on Web Site activity for Web Site operators and providing other services relating to Web Site activity and internet usage, including tracking which pages of our Web Site you visit so we can optimize your experience with our Web Site. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
Managing Cookies and Do Not Track:
You can change the way your browser handles cookies. Already existing cookies can be deleted. Please consult www.allaboutcookies.org on how to manage or delete cookies in your browser. Our Web Site currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy whether or not a “Do Not Track” signal is received.
Aggregated Personal Data:
In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Web Site, Apps, and Row52 Services, Row52 often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Row52 may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Row52 may also disclose aggregated user statistics and transaction data in order to describe our Row52 Services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
If you give us Personal Data about someone else or a business entity, you must do so only with their explicit and prior consent. You must inform them how we collect, use, disclose, and retain their Personal Data according to this Privacy Policy.
Our Use of Your Personal Data and Other Information
Row52 uses the Personal Data you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data for a certain reason, we may use the Personal Data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. We may use the Personal Data and other information that we collected through the Web Site or Apps for various purposes, including to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Row52 Services;
- Provide and deliver the products and services you request and send you related information, including confirmations;
- Give you access to your purchase history, Yard or Parts listings, internal messages, and other features of the Row52 Services;
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
- Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service;
- Communicate with you about services, offers, promotions and events offered by Row52 and others, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you;
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our Web Site, Apps, and the Row52 Services;
- Personalize and improve the Row52 Services and provide advertisements, content or features that match user profiles or interests;
- Process and deliver contest entries and rewards;
- Link or combine with information we get from others to help understand your needs and provide you with better service;
- Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected;
- Prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraud, security breaches, and potentially prohibited or illegal activities; and

Row52 is not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:
Business Transfers:
As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.
Related Companies:
We may also share your Personal Data with our related companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties:
Row52, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases, technical development, account verification, and fraud investigation.
Legal Requirements:
Row52 may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Row52, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
Social Sharing Features
Our Web Site and Apps may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which let you share actions you take on our Web Site or Apps with other media, and vice versa. The use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. These social media sites may give us automatic access to certain Personal Data retained by them about you (e.g., content viewed by you, content “Liked” by you, and information about the advertisements you have been shown or may have clicked on). You control the Personal Data you allow us to have access to through the privacy settings on the applicable social media site and the permissions you give us when you grant us access to your Personal Data retained by the respective social media site about you. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing in connection with social sharing features, please visit the privacy policies of the entities that provide these features. By associating an account managed by a social media site with your account and authorizing us to have access to this information, you agree that we may collect, use and retain the information provided by these social media sites in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
We will keep your Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a legitimate business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g., for tax, legal, accounting or other purposes), whichever is longer. If you have elected to receive marketing communications from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences until you opt-out of receiving these communications and in accordance with our policies.
Your Choices
Cookies:
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Removing or rejecting browser cookies does not affect third party flash cookies used in connection with our Services. Promotional Communications:
You may opt out of receiving promotional e-mails from Row52 by following the instructions in those e-mails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
Update Your Information:
If you need to change or correct your Personal Data, wish to have it deleted from our systems, or wish to lodge a complaint about our processing of your Personal Data, you may contact us. We will address your request as required by applicable law. You may also be able to update your Personal Data through the Web Site or the Apps. You may deactivate your account by contacting us, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.
Exclusions
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data collected by Row52 other than Personal Data collected through the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services. This Privacy Policy shall not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to Row52 through the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services or through any other means. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Web Site or Apps, such as comments and Parts Seller biographies (collectively, “Public Areas”), any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and Row52 shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information to others without limitation or attribution. Because Public Areas are available through the Web Site and Apps, we encourage you not to include any Personal Data that you do not wish to make publicly available.
Children
The Row52 Services are not directed towards children and are not intended for use by children. Row52 does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data through the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data to Row52 through the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
Third Party Sites and Products
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Web Site, Apps, and Row52 Services. The Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services may contain links to or otherwise interact with, or you may choose to utilize, other web sites or products not operated or controlled by Row52 (the “Third Party Sites”), including third party add-ons, applications and other software that could track your usage or collect Personal Data. The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. If you decide to access any Third Party Sites or use services provided by any Third Party Sites in connection with a Pull, you do so at your own risk and your disclosure of your Personal Data on Third Party Sites is governed solely by the applicable Third Party Site’s policies. We suggest contacting those third parties directly for information on their privacy policies.
Security
Row52 takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided via the Web Site, Apps, and Row52 Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail or messages sent to or from the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to Row52 via the Internet.

The Web Site, Apps, our Row52 Services and our business may change from time to time. As a result, at times it may be necessary for Row52 to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Row52 reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any Personal Data. This Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated above. Your continued use of the Web Site, Apps, or Row52 Services after any changes or revisions to this Privacy Policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Privacy Policy.
